John Veraja is an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton. John’s practice focuses on bankruptcy and restructuring. He has advised clients in restructurings, including LATAM Airlines Group, Tempur Sealy International, several ad hoc lender groups and bondholders, and Samarco Mineração. He has also advised Goldman Sachs on potential loans to several firms, and has represented TotalEnergies in potential bankruptcy proceedings. He has also assisted Lion Point Capital in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of Suniva Inc. John received a JD from New York University School of Law and a BA from the Cornell University.
